BatteryPass GO is designed for battery manufacturers, importers, and distributors who need to comply with EU Battery Regulation 2023/1542. The regulation mandates digital product passports for industrial and electric vehicle batteries, with requirements coming into force from early 2026.

Battery packs are always individual products, but they are usually built from standardized cells. Our platform includes a comprehensive cell database containing the technical, chemical, and environmental information for all common cylindrical and prismatic cells. This allows all the required information for any battery pack to be automatically compiled with minimal effort. The battery passport itself primarily requires cell-level data or information that can be directly derived from the technical cell specifications.

Absolutely. We offer a REST API for seamless integration with ERP, PLM, or quality management systems. Passport data can also be exported in standard formats (JSON, PDF) for use in downstream processes.

With all required data available, generating a fully compliant digital product passport takes less than 60 seconds. Using the cell database, you can import pre-validated specifications to further reduce setup time.
